Esmerelia, raised in secret by her father outside of the school of Angels, must now leave her peaceful life behind to learn what it really means to be an Angel, serve mankind, and someday hold up the Black Egg.
But all is not as it seems in the school, and she quickly discovers one dark secret after the next.
Esmerelia soon learns that her magic isn't viewed kindly at the school. Still, she's determined to continue on in graduate. A black winged angled named Krensha comes and shows her a dangerous secret.
LRT dances in her storm amidst the angels atop the mountain. Hollen races to expose the cracked egg's plans, and goes up the mountain assuming Zarza is at the top. Zarza, at the foot of the mountain, confronts Esmerelia and Krensha. The black winged angel wastes little time and fights the immortal butterfly winged teacher.
Arriving atop the mountain Esmerelia and Krensha set their plan in motion. LRT attempts to stop them, but Esmerelia's magic core has grown in power underneath the great egg. However, as the egg descends from her efforts, a true danger is exposed.
Esmerelia battles as the school is ravaged and angels are devoured. She is cast into the Abyss, crying out for someone, anyone to save her.
